About Me

In the past, people have told me I should write a book about my life. I never thought seriously about doing it until I read an article by Elder M. Russell Ballard. His encouragement made me think, I could start a blog. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Elder Ballard said, “There are conversations going on about the Church constantly. Those conversations will continue whether or not we choose to participate in them…Far too many people have a poor understanding of the Church because most of the information they hear about us is from news media reports that are often driven by controversies.” Having the chance to tell my story, and at the same time to answer any inquiries people may have about the Church has given me a reason to write.

I have been married for an entire decade, I am 30-something, and mom to two adorable, sweet, smart, kissable little girls. It is hard to summarize myself; there is so much! I love being a stay-at-home wife and mother. I enjoy people, music (especially classical), scrapbooking, crocheting, poetry, movies, games, and many other things. In my life, I have faced some interesting issues, from teenage depression, being a foster “dotter,” to marriage, infertility, and mommyhood. I have learned a lot. Even with my limited writing ability, I hope to adequately share it all here, where there is no end to space…
